Instructions Related To The CUET Exam
We have gathered some of the instructions from the official sources that you should keep in mind at the time of taking the CUET examination.
Important Instructions

Mandatory Documents
You must bring the following documents on the day of your CUET exam to the test center. Because you will not be allowed to sit in the examination if you don’t carry them with you.
- A printout copy of your admit card along with self-declaration. It should be downloaded from the NTA website and duly filled in.
- One passport-size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet at the test center. The photo should be the same as you uploaded on the online application form.
- Any one of the original, valid, and non-expired authorized photo IDs. It can be a school identity card, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID card, passport, E-Adhaar or Adhaar card with photograph, class 12 board admit card, bank passbook, etc.
- If you claim the relaxation under the PwBD category, then you need to bring a PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer.
General Instructions
- The total duration of the exam will be mentioned on your admit card issued by the NTA.
- At the top right corner of your screen, you will see a countdown timer clock. It will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination.
- When the timer reaches zero, the CUET exam will end by itself. You are not required to end or submit the exam.
- On the left side of the screen, a question palette will be displayed that will show the status of each question.
- If you select the Marked for Review option, then it will indicate that you would like to look at that question again. The questions that you answered and “Marked for Review” will be automatically saved and evaluated even if you don’t remove the flag.
- The CUET questions and answers will be visible in English and your chosen language. In case there is any doubt, then you are requested to refer to the English version as the final.
- You have to do all the calculations or writing work only on the rough sheet provided at the test center in the examination hall. And after completing your CUET exam, you need to hand over the rough sheet to the Invigilator.
