Highlights Of The RRB ALP Exam
The Railways Recruitment Board of India regulates the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot exam every year. Around 5696 vacancies for the ALP are filled via this examination. Some key features of the RRB ALP exam are:
- This examination is held on a national level and is conducted in multiple phases.
- There is a first and second-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 1 & CBT 2), Computer Based Aptitude Test, and document verification.
- There are 250 questions asked in the ALP exam that are objective type.
- The 1st stage of CBT comprises four subjects, namely, Mathematics, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness of Current Affairs.
- The CBT 2 stage has two parts. Part A consists of the same subjects as CBT 1 except the General Awareness on Current Affairs section. The Part B of this stage has questions from your relevant trade.
- The time duration for CBT 1 is 60 min, CBT 2 part A is 90 min, and CBT 2 part B is 60 min.
- 0.33 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer in all of the sections of the RRB ALP exam.
