    And the number of questions attempted by Ajay with incorrect answers = 30 – x.
    Total marks deducted for incorrect answers = (30 – x)/4
    Now, x – (30 – x)/4 = 13.75
    Or, 4x + x = 13.75 × 4 + 30 = 55 + 30 = 85
    5x = 85
    x = 85/5 = 17
    Incorrect answers = 30 – 17 = 13
