It is a cumulative record of the learning progress of the children and enables them to demonstrate their own work to other. It enables the child to become active participants in learning and assessment.

Multiple evaluation procedures must evaluate the outcomes since EVS learning objectives comprise cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor behaviour.

Discussion, analysis, experimentation, questioning, explanation, classification, concern for justice and equality, observation and reporting, cooperation, and expression are all indicators used for EVS assessment.

During the assessment, one could avoid using technical terms.
