Gifted children are divergent thinker. Divergent thinker means a thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions.

If we look around in our environment we will find people differ from one another in the emotions they experience and express. All live in a different situation and condition, and emotional development of a child is highly influenced by the surrounding. Parenting style: Democratic parenting where induction is used as a method of disciplining allows for more mature emotional development. Violence in environment: The kind of behavior the child sees in the community or an T.V will affect her expression of emotions. Cultural norms: It is our environment which prepares us to react according to the situation, and tells us the acceptable way of expressing ones emotions.

It is very important for the learners to monitor their own learning and understand how much they have learned, where they lack, and their areas of interest; therefore, children should be encouraged to regulate and monitor their learning, which would happen when the right kind of learning environment is created. Discipline is essential to maintain the learning environment in the school. If a child is not disciplined, he won't implement his plans or ideas in real life.

Having a diverse classroom with children from varies economic and cultural background enriches the learning experiences of children. In a diverse classroom child learn from each other. Collaborative learning is an effective learning in which child learns without burden.

Story-telling method of teaching is used to teach language and social science. This method of teaching increases interest of the pupil, improves vocabulary, increases imaginative power, develop good qualities.

Cognitive psychologist Jerome Bruner felt the goal of education should be intellectual development, as opposed to rote memorization of facts. Jerome Bruner proposed three modes of representation:
● Enactive representation (action-based)
● Iconic representation (image-based)
● Symbolic representation (language-based)
Enactive (0 - 1 year)

For example, in the form of movement as muscle memory, a baby might remember the action of shaking a rattle. Therefore in the enactive stage of Bruner’s theory, the child understands the environment through physical manipulation.

In the learning process mistakes are as important as success because from the failure a child can learn more than a success. Everyone makes mistakes…even the most successful people out there. But, what achievers do better than others is recognize the patterns that are causing those mistakes and never repeat them again. In short, they learn from pain—their own and the pain of others.

Intrinsic motivation includes a person’s intrinsic interest. For example, when a topic or activity that induce a person’s willing involvement in it.

A significant part of teaching and learning process is dividing the task into smaller units and noting down instructions. This makes a complex situation easy since they have to go through one simple task at a time.

Skinner considered a reward and reinforcement an important factor role in learning. Skinner argues that the purpose of psychology is to predict the behavior control.
