The important skills required to understand and read a map is the basic ability to comprehend and coordinate systems, places and directions. Map reading skills can be enhanced by the use of the GPS system on mobile phones and trackers. Communication skills, drawing skills and good mathematical calculation may add up to attain complete success in terms of understanding directions and thus get a better picture of analyzing maps.

Gujarat is located on the coast of Arabian sea. In 1930 Mahatma Gandhi chose this place for salt march. He started salt march from Sabarmati ashram to Dandi along with some followers.
