The list of Constitutional Amendments and their important provisions is as below:
Parliamentary Questions are of three types-
1. Starred Questions: A Starred Question is one to which a member desires an oral answer from the Minister in the House; these questions follow supplementary questions by members.
2. Unstarred Questions: An Unstarred Question is one to which a written answer is desired by the member and no supplementary question can be asked thereon.
3. Short Notice Questions: A member may give notice of question on a matter of public importance and of urgent character for oral answer at a notice less than 10 days prescribed as the minimum period of notice for asking a question in an ordinary course.
* Competition Commission of India is a statutory body formed by Competition Act, 2002.
* The competition commission of India was established on the recommendations of the Raghavan Committee.
* The commission is also a quasi-judicial body that gives opinions to statutory authorities and also deals with other cases.
* It was established on 14 October 2003. It became fully functional in May 2009 with Dhanendra Kumar as its first Chairman.
* The Commission consists of one Chairperson and six Members.
* It is the duty of the Commission to eliminate practices having an adverse effect on competition, promote and sustain competition, protect the interests of consumers and ensure freedom of trade in the markets of India.
The provisions related to tribunals are mentioned under part XIVA of the constitution.
* Part XIVA includes Article 323A to 323B.
* Articles 323-A and 323-B were inserted through the 42nd Amendment Act of 1976 on recommendation of Swaran Singh Committee.
* Article 323A deals with administrative tribunals.
* Article 323B deals with tribunals for other matters.
