The animal which lives in trees, nests etc is termed as the aerial animal or arboreal animal. Under this arboreal category, animals like monkeys and apes which live on trees and birds which lives on nests resides. The terrestrial animal is that animal which lives on land, whereas those animals which considered to have water as its shelter are called as aquatic animals.
Weaverbird is a type of bird which builds its nest on a tree. In the case of weaver bird, the shelter or nest is made by the male bird whereas the female lays and hatches the egg in the nest. In case of other birds such as Tailorbird, Barbet or coppersmith, the nest is built by either female bird or by both.
