A train cover a distance of 660 m in 2 minutes and a bus cover a distance of 9 km in 45 min find the ratio of speed of train to bus?
Distance of train = 660 m = 6600 mm
Time taken by train = 2 mins
Speed of train = 6600/2 = 330 m/min
Distance of bus = 9 km =9000 m
Time taken by bus = 45 mins
Speed of the bus =9000/45 = 200 m/min
Required ratio= 330/200 =33: 20
Simplify: (-4.5) (3.5) ÷ (- 5 + 0.5) + 0.5
(-4.5) (3.5) ÷ (- 5 + 0.5) + 0.5
= (-15.75) ÷ (- 4.5) + 0.5
= 3.5 + 0.5
= 4
If an item is sold at 450 profit percentage is same as loss percentage when it sold at 270.Find the selling price of that item if shopkeeper wants to earn 15% profit?
450 – CP = CP – 270
2CP = 720
CP = 360
Selling price at 15 % gain = 360 x 115/100 = Rs.414
Find the number of trailing zero in the following series

Four bells ring at interval of 3, 4, 8 and 12 second respectively. In 24 min how many times they ring together?
LCM of (3, 4, 8, 12) = 24
After every 24 sec all bells ring together
24 min = 24×60 sec
So in 1440 sec they ring together = 1440/24 = 60 times
Find the equivalent ration number of recurring decimal 0.25252525
16 women can complete a work in 20 days .10 men and 10 women can complete the work in 8 days then in how many days 10 men alone can complete the work?
One Woman can complete the work in 16 × 20 = 320 days
10 women can complete the work in = 32 days
10 men + 10 women = 1/8 days
10 men + 1/32 = 1/8 days
10 men = 1/8 – 1/32 = 3/32
10 men can complete the work in 10 2/3 days
Aarthi has 60 currency notes, which have the denomination of Rs. 10 and of Rs. 5. How much amount did she have in the denomination of Rs. 5 if the total value of the currency notes is Rs.500?
Let number o f Rs. 5 note = x
So number of 10 Rs note = 60 – x
ATQ, 5x + 10(60 – x) = 500
5x + 600 – 10x = 500
100 = 5x → x = 20
So amount she have in 20 denomination = 20 × 5 = 100
