The first meeting of Constituent Assembly was held on December 9, 1946.
The Muslim League boycotted the meeting and insisted on a separate state of Pakistan. The meeting was attended by only 211 members. Dr. Sachchidanand Sinha was elected as the temporary president of the assembly.

• The Union Territories are controlled and administered directly by the Central Government.

• Part II of Constitution deals with various provisions related to Citizenship.

• Part IV of the Constitution was added by 42^nd Amendment in 1976.

According to Article 312 of the Constitution, the Indian Parliament is authorise to create new All India Services for both the centre and states.

* Under this article the Parliament may provide for the creation of one or more All India Services including an All-India Judicial Service for the Union or the States.

* Parliament can regulate recruitment, and service for the service of persons Terms of service were appointed for any such service.

• El Nino is a warm Ocean Current.

• EL Nino is the Warm phase of the El Nino Southern Oscillation and is associated withy a band of warm ocean water that develops in the central and east –central equitorial.

• Nino is accompanied by high air pressure in the western Pacific and low air pressure in the eastern pacific.
