Here are some general instructions for taking an MCQ test:

Maximum Marks: 100

1. This test comprise of 2 sections, General Aptitude and Mechanical Engineering

2. This test comprises of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and numerical type question.

3. Multiple-choice questions will have only 1 correct option.

4. Numerical type questions will have a numerical answer and no options will be available. The answer should be entered using the virtual keyboard that appears on the monitor.

5. Test consist of 1 and 2 mark(s) questions. 1/3rd mark(s) will be deducted for every wrong answer for MCQ type questions only. No negative mark for numerical type questions.

6. In General Aptitude section question number 1 to 5 are 1 mark questions and question 6 to 10 are 2 marks. In core section, question 1 to 25 are 1 mark and question 26 to 55 are two mark question.

7. No mark will be deducted for an un-attempted question.

8. You can change your answer by clicking on some other option.

9. A number list of all questions appears at the middle of the screen, you can access the questions in any order within a section or across sections by clicking on the question number given on the number list.

10. Do not click the button "submit test" before completing the test. A test once submitted cannot be resumed.
