Vacancy Details
SAIL is offering a total of 356 apprentice positions across three categories. The distribution is as follows:
- Trade Apprentices: 165 Posts (ITI qualified)
- Technician Apprentices: 135 Posts (Diploma in Engineering)
- Graduate Apprentices: 53 Posts (BE/B.Tech)
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Trade Apprentices: Candidates must have passed an ITI exam in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
- Technician Apprentices: A Diploma in Engineering from a recognized board is required.
- Graduate Apprentices: A BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution is mandatory.
2. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as of 30/09/2024)
- Age Relaxation: As per government norms and SAIL’s recruitment rules.
