The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) has released the notification for REET 2024 (Primary Level I and Junior Level II Examination). Eligible candidates can apply online from 16th December 2024 to 15th January 2025. Below are the details regarding the application process, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and important dates.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • No age limit to apply for the REET 2024 Eligibility Test.
  • Note: Age restrictions may apply during the REET Mains Exam for teacher recruitment.

Level-I (PRT) Eligibility (Class I-V)

  1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  2. Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE (Recognition, Norms, and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
  3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  5. Graduation and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Level-II (TGT) Eligibility (Class VI-VIII)

  1. Graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  2. Graduation/Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
  3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed 1-year B.Ed, as per NCTE Regulations.
  4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  5. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed..
  6. Graduation/Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).

REET Exam Pattern 2024

The exam will consist of 150 questions with no negative marking. Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam. The exam will be conducted offline with separate papers for Primary (Level 1) and Upper Primary Teachers (Level 2).
