Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the IBPS RRB 2024 Notification and on 10th June 2024 10,181 vacancies were released (revised) for office assistant (Clerk), Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager), Officer Scale 2 (Manager) and Office Scale 3 (Senior Manager) post vacancies.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024 for Officer Assistant (Clerk), Officer Scale (PO), and Officer Scale 2 and 3 posts. The IBPS has released the IBPS Calendar 2024 and as per the Exam schedule, the IBPS RRB Exam Date 2024 is as follows:
- The IBPS RRB PET Exam 2024 will be held from 22nd to 27th July 2024 for the minority candidates.
- IBPS RRB Officer Assistant and Officer Scale 1 Prelims Exam will be held on the 3rd, 4th, 10th, 17th, and 18th of August 2024.
- The IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 (Mains) and Officer Scale 2 and 3 will be held on 29th September 2024.
- The IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam will be held on 6th October 2024.

IBPS RRB 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have completed the following eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS RRB 2024. The IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria include education qualification, age limit, and experience, which have been detailed here.
IBPS RRB Age Limit
- For Officer Scale- III- Candidates should be above 21 years old and below 40 years old.
- For Officer Scale-II- Candidates should be above 21 years old and below 32 years old.
- For Officer Scale- I- Candidates should be above 18 years old and below 30 years old.
- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidates should be above 18 years and below 30 years old.

IBPS RRB Selection Process 2024
The IBPS RRB Selection Process involves two stages: Prelims and Mains. On the other hand, the IBPS PO or Officer Scale I examination involves three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. As for the IBPS Officer Grade II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and III, there is a single-window exam known as the IBPS Officer Grade II Exam, followed by an Interview. To secure a position in any of these posts, candidates must successfully clear each stage of the respective examinations.
IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2024
As you know the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam Pattern
The IBPS RRB Assistant 2024, Exam will be conducted in two phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.
