The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced the recruitment of 3069 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) for the Education Department, Government of Haryana. Age Limit

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- Language Requirement: Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A/M.A with Hindi as one of the subjects.
- Qualification: HTET Level III/STET Qualified.
- Academic Record: Consistent good academic record.
HPSC PGT Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern
The HPSC PGT Exam comprises two stages followed by an interview:
- Screening Test: Objective type, 100 questions, 25% weightage, 2 hours.
- Subject Knowledge Test: Descriptive, 150 marks, 87.5% weightage, 3 hours.
- Interview: 12.5% weightage.

HPSC PGT Salary 2024
The salary for HPSC PGT follows the 7th Pay Commission guidelines, with a pay scale of FPL 8, ranging from ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100. The estimated in-hand salary is between ₹65,000 to ₹80,000 per month.
