AFCAT 1 Notification 2025 Released: 336 Vacancies, Registration Starts Dec 2

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 Notification for 2025. Registration for AFCAT 1 will start on December 2, 2024, and candidates can apply online at the official website: afcat.cdac.in.

AFCAT is conducted to select candidates for the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, NCC Special Entry, and Meteorology Entry courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Flying Branch:

  • Education: Minimum 60% in any undergraduate degree with Physics and Mathematics at Class 12 level.
  • Alternative: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks.
  • Special Case: Candidates with a CPL and DGCA certification do not need the 60% in graduation.

Ground Duty (Technical):

  • Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunication with at least 60%.
  • Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering with at least 60%.
  • Alternative: MSc in Physics, Mathematics, or Electronics with at least 60%.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

  • Administration/Logistics: Any undergraduate degree with at least 60%.
  • Education: Postgraduate degree in relevant fields with at least 50%.
  • Accounts: B.Com/M.Com with at least 60%.

  2. Register: Start your application on December 2.
  3. Fill Form: Complete the online application by December 31.
  4. Submit: Ensure all details are correct before submitting.
